Biography
Natasha Purnell is a web designer from Cincinnati, Ohio. She has always had an interest in art, any kind really. Ever since she was younger she’s been drawing and sketching. It is her favorite pass time along with writing and watching movies. Her favorite director is Hayao Miyazaki, he inspires her with his stories and she has all of his movies. Natasha likes to write down her dreams and turn them into stories and art. She also really loves to laugh and goes crazy if she can’t wind down every once in a while as she’s working.
Artist Statement
As an artist my favorite material is a blank piece of paper and a pencil because these tools have always been the best way to bring my ideas to life. I make art because it’s my outlet for my ideas and emotions, that’s always been the easiest way for me. My personal style of design reflects my mood and emotions, while meeting the needs of the client and target audience. I want others to be inspired by my work when they see it, just like how I get inspired when I see what other creative individuals have created. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I have learned something in the process of creating projects and being able to utilize my new found knowledge properly.
